Background:

Waking up each day with the scars of hate etched into my body and my soul is a painful reminder of the brutal hate crime I endured. Extremism and hate-fueled violence has continued to rise since September 11th, 2001. Far too many lives have been destroyed and lost, families forever broken at the hands of senseless hate. I embarked on a journey to understand the roots of hate and violence. I yearned to discover whether peace and forgiveness could ever prevail and how others find purpose amidst pain.

A 17,000 Mile Journey:

Over the past year, I’ve traveled more than 17,000 miles across North America alongside multi-Emmy award-winning filmmaker, Mark Feijo. Together, we’ve captured the profoundly personal stories featured in World Without Hate’s upcoming documentary, Pain and Peace

Purpose:

This feature length film delves deep into the heart of the matter, giving voice to survivors and former perpetrators of hate-fueled violence. In Pain and Peace, viewers will bear witness to haunting and inspiring accounts directly from these individuals as we join them in their remarkable and courageous journeys towards purpose and peace.

Our documentary is a testament to the power of forgiveness, reconciliation, empathy, and healing. It’s an invitation to us all to join in transcending intolerance, hate, and violence.
